What Makes Successful Living Center Unique
Successful Living Center will be an intergenerational, co-located, shared site for child and adult day care services. Whether you have a loved one who suffers from Alzheimer’s requiring daytime care and/or a child with or without disabilities, you only have to make one stop before going to work. There is not another facility in the Montgomery County area that provides inclusive childcare to medically fragile special needs children.
Unique facilities that provide daycare to both the young and old have proven to have positive results for both age groups. Although the two generations will be in separate facilities, a common communal area will be provided for structured activities together. Recent studies have found that this type program decreases confused, wandering behavior in Alzheimer’s patients and increased social behaviors in young children.
